Dr. Steve Kang

Dr. Steve Kang is a fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon specializing in Mohs reconstruction, facial trauma, and facial aesthetic surgery. He graduated from the University of Toronto and received his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He continued his training by specializing in maxillofacial surgery at Penn Medicine and was subsequently selected for a highly competitive fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Clevens Face and Body Specialists.

Dr. Kang has advanced expertise in restoring form and function after skin cancer removal, including reconstruction of complex defects involving the nose, eyelids, lips, ears, scalp, and other cosmetically sensitive areas of the face. He also serves on the trauma teams at multiple major hospitals in the Tampa Bay area, where he specializes in the surgical management of facial trauma patients, emphasizing reconstruction tailored to each patient’s anatomy and aesthetic goals.
