Here at ReJUVA Dermatology, Vein & Skin Cancer Center, we offer Botox treatments to fade wrinkles and fine lines. Both our physicians are double board-certified dermatologists and experts in fillers/ and injectables. Dr. Mazloom has worked for years at an upscale NYC practice before moving to Venice, FL. Dr. Rasouli was trained by some of the leading doctors in the country and was voted by peers as a Top Cosmetic Dermatologist in 2020.
Botox is available for women and men over 18 years of age. We see patients from all parts of Sarasota County with fine lines and deep wrinkles, who benefit from relaxing the muscles and smoothing their skin. Botox can also be injected into younger patients (25-35) as a preventive measure when they start to notice the beginning formation of wrinkles in their faces.
Keep in mind that Botox is not recommended for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Let your doctor know of any allergies or medical conditions when you come in for your consultation.
The following are common areas for patients to get Botox:
If your skin has damage from the sun or other external conditions, Botox may not be a good option for you. Botox is best at treating wrinkles that form naturally or are developed genetically.
Our doctors will examine your skin during your consultation and indicate if Botox, other facial fillers, or cosmetic lasers, will achieve your aesthetic goals. We will let you know what to expect before your first Botox injection and whether you should not take blood thinners before the treatment to reduce bleeding or bruising.
Botox sessions are quick, usually ranging between 10-20 minutes. We will first numb the area if needed, and then our doctor will make an injection into the desired area. You should avoid touching the area for 24 hours. You should notice the difference within a few days and should set follow-up treatments every four months to maintain your new appearance.
